Lets pretend we are of the Governing Body in Brooklyn . What proposals would you put before the members . You can vote and add ammendments if you like. Even jump up and down on the table or thump it with excitement that would be fun.

If the imminent changes in Watchtower land have nothing to do with the door to door work that still leaves them with a hell of a problem as far as having unchecked people doing Watchtower work going from door to door meeting the public .They have still got to fix that problem . My gut feeling is, and I ask myself if I was a GB member , which part of the Org. is the most vunerable legally and the answer has got to be among the mass of so called representatives in the so called ministry.
Brooklyn can now claim that through the internet they are preaching the good news of God's Kingdom throughout the World they don't need people going from door to door en mass in order to reach people they can operate in any country they like thanks to the Web they can hook people effectively through the written and spoken word on line. They can operate a system of recruitment more efficiently by using less and less people as long as they can get them studying ,donating and into to the Kingdom Halls.
The bottom line is which system sells the most books or brings in the most money without the legal ramifications.

I think the 100th anniversary of the out break of the first World War in 2014 is going to cause changes and make them spin new light.
There will be a Watchtower sometime in 2014 that will probably be a special one off edition explaining why Jehovah hasn't put the cuffs on Satan yet.
However they need to address the three most important issues which is Credibility, Apostates and they are going nowhere fast unless they get everyone who goes from door to door CIB checked and registered.

I am only guessing and speculating but I have a feeling that the door to door preaching work will change some how I think it is getting to be a very large liability for them and that there will be more emphasis on reaching people via the web and maybe having special appointments made to visit through the online contacts or directing people to visit the Kingdom Hall.
But the Watchtower has so many faults which need corecting it could be any number of issues.
In light of the child abuse cases I don't think they can continue to send all and sundry from door to door it has become too much of a liability.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses know what happened to them in 1954?
by Terry in1954: the year jehovah's witnesses stopped worshiping jesus christ.
watchtower charter: http://www.jehovah.net.au/books/1945_cha..._wtbts.pdf.
did you know that from 1879 until 1954 the writings of c.t.russell, j.f.rutherford, nathan knorr and the watchtower's own charter all agreed that jesus christ was worthy of worship?.

Well spotted Terry this worship of Jesus question was one of the reasons I started to doubt the Watchtowers credibility. Back in the sixties we used to have the book Make Sure Of All Things which I usually kept in my bag going from door to door . In that Watchtower publication it said on page 85 that Jesus is to be worshipped as a glorious spirit and we used to tell objectors that it means we give secondary worship but as usual Watchtower double standards came into play here because on page 177 of the same book it condemns secondary worship and page 178 it says that even bowing before men and angels is forbidden.
The book was eventually revised when it was pointed out that because the Watchtower claimed Jesus was created it made the Witnesses guilty of creature worship . All this is an example of how they tie themselves in doctrinal knots.

The only thing to be afraid of is the Watchtower Org.
This guy is sinking so low he is obviously acting as judge and jury by telling us that he knows from which age group God is going to destroy .Looks as if the institute has been taken over by the inmates again. Listen to yourself Mr Morris and ask yourself has God actually given me the authority to talk this rubbish. In over a hundred years when ever has your crazy group been correct , never .
